Our Commitment to Families

The Family Ministry is a core part of the Free Church community and its future. Here at Free Church, God has granted us the great privilege of working alongside families to steward the future generation. We believe that the strength of a community is found within the church, and the strength of a church is found in the families within it. This is why we are committed to supporting the families of our community.

Our Family Ministry encompasses Sunday school classes for children aged three to twelve years old, a baby pantry that provides new or gently used clothing to families of infants that are in need, and our kids' dance program which allows children to explore artistic expression as a form of worship. On the first Sunday of each month, we also host a family service to pray for all children.

How to Support Our Families

As a church, we are grateful for the role we play in each child’s faith journey. We recognize that our Sunday school classes play an important but limited part in your child’s Christian education, and each child’s spiritual upbringing begins in the home, as our families are our first ministry. Because of this, we encourage family members of children who attend Sunday school classes to volunteer in the Sunday school classes one Sunday a month. This allows family members to take an active role in each child’s Christian education. As a Sunday school volunteer, you are given the unique opportunity to positively make a difference in a child’s life.
