Our Leadership

Pastor Doug and Sheila Shackelford are the founding Pastors of Free Church. They have been married for 30 years and have three sons, Luke, Trent and Grant. They began serving in ministry together as Children’s Pastors in the Church of God and then transitioned to Youth Pastors. They also served as Youth Pastors at FaithWorld (now known as Judah Church) for several years. Pastor Doug has served as Associate Pastor and Lead Pastor at several different churches over the years including Judah Church (Pastor Clint Brown), Masters Touch International Church (Bishop Mark Chironna), and City of Destiny (Pastor Paula White-Cain). He has served in all areas of ministry over the 30 years both on staff and consulting premier churches and ministries. Pastor Doug also founded Strategic Ministries in 2006, a nationwide Church Consulting Ministry.
